Sukhum International Film Festival announces dates and applications

On the 10th December 2018 applications for participation in the second Sukhum International Film Festival will open. The Festival will be held in the capital of Abkhazia from April 4 to April 8, 2019.

The competition program can enter short fiction films lasting from 10 to 30 minutes, which were shot in 2018/19. The international jury awards the winning films statuette prizes as well as cash awards. In particular, the prize for first place is 200,000 rubles.

The first Sukhum International Film Festival was held in Abkhazia in April 2018. The program included 32 films from Abkhazia, Western Europe, Russia, Morocco, Tunisia and South Korea. Producer and director Anna Melikyan was the chairman of the jury.
